The laboratory has a soundproofed cabin equipped with two eddy current dynamometric brakes, a first with a horizontal axis and a second vertical for detecting the torque and power of motors up to 35 kW according to ISO standards; the photocell reading of the specific consumption and the measurement of the temperatures complete the survey.

The equipment of the laboratory is completed by instruments for dimensional measurements (profile projector, divider, digital height gauge, micrometers, bore gauges), hardness (Rockwell hardness tester) and motoring (stroboscope and digital tachometer).
